Goodbye party in Bobbeli!
At first we want to thank all the women from Butschuwalsa who visited our women group every thursday. We enjoyed it very much to spend our time with you in your nice and friendly village!
It was a great pleasure for us to discuss all the important topics with you.
Our 10th class in Pedamerangi.
Our 5th and 6th class in Parvathipuram.
Furthermore we want to thank our school children and their teachers! Two times a week we were allowed to give english classes and we got a lot of support from the teachers and headmasters of the schools!
We had a lot of fun with the children and we will never forget you!
The staffmembers of Bobbili.
In addition we have to say a big thank you to the private hospital in Bobbili and the government hospital in Parvathipuram.
We spent a lot of time there and enjoyed it very much.
The sisters of the private hospital gave us great assistance and so did the nurses.
They all became very good friends of us and gave us one of the best memories of our time here. Thanks for the great time we spent together. You will always be in our minds.
Of course we want to say thank you to all of our old people. It was so nice to spend every friday with you. Thanks for welcoming us so open and friendly all the time and for your confidence, especially for telling us all your life stories.
You gave us the feeling to be at home in your village! In addition we have to say thank you to the community which supported us in reference to all our actions for the home.
We hope that the interest in this beautiful and nice place will continue in the future.
With her assistance and help it was more than easy for us to start our life in India. Thank you Malathi for all the support and advices you gave us. We enjoyed our time at KKID with you and we always knew that we can count on you if we have any problems.
As well our thank goes to the KKS. They gave us the chance to take part in this program. The practice they gave us in Germany was excellent. They explained us nearly everything about the country and the indian culture. They were very keen to prepare us for our new life in India. Most thankful we are for your work because of our project change, you found another organization for us within one week! That was amazing, thank you very much for that! Without Mrs. Tietz, Mrs Sames ( who also came to India in November to support us in the midterm workshop) and Mrs. Maier our stay here in India would not have been possible!
Now we want to concentrate on the organization in which we spent the last eight months.
The whole JKS gave us a very warm and open welcome at the beginning, so it was easy for us to start our new life in that different culture.
They explained us nearly everything and took good care of us.
Our mentors Uma and Purna were very important for us the whole time. Since the first day we met them, they gave us the feeling of being our friends. They invited us to their homes and introduced us to their families. They were open for all our problems and needs!
Dear Uma and Purna, thank you for guiding us, helping us with every situation of the indan life, giving us so much confidence, listening to all our problems and for being our friends!
We will never forget you and your assistance here in India!
Last but not least we want to say thank you to the most important person for us here in India:
Dear Director Sir, without your support all our actions and plans would not have been possible. We always felt free to tell you our suggestions and needs. You were always keen to achieve all our requests and give us a home in which we feel comfortable.
You always found true and honest words for us and we trusted you all the time.
You and your wunderful family gave us the feeling of being at home.
We thank you for everything you did for us and we will keep you and all the amazing memories forever in our hearts.
We will miss our India very much!
Steffi and Marie
